Android Issue: My app invite request is sending a user to a dead page in Facebook - Stack Overflow

In Android mobile, my app invite request is sending a user to a dead page in Facebook.

We don't have a canvas app page, rather we have a website that uses the Facebook login to resolve a page from the notification. Here's the issue:

  1. In Android, user is notified in two ways: (a) via notification jewel (Facebook's terminology), and (b) via an interstitial page that has nothing on it except ": sent you a request. (where "request" is a link).

  2. If the user pursues option B, and clicks on the App Name, it links to an App page (even though we do not have an App per se). If the user clicks on the requestor's name, it links to the requestor's respective FB page. If the user clicks on "request" link, it links to a page that "cannot be displayed or does not exist" in Facebook. <---this last part here is the issue.

This does not happen in iOS, it only happens in Android. Does anyone know why the page associated with the link called "request" does not resolve??

Here is the URL by way of reference:
