Are there any other free tools out there that can be used to edit the Layout XML files. I need code completion. The Layout editor in the most recent version of Eclipse/ADT is not working.


























There's DroidDraw (last updated nearly a year ago), or you could always use NetBeans, or... you could fix your installation of Eclipse. Unfortunately "not working" isn't enough information to help you fix what ails you.























Layout editor for android is always there in any Eclipse with android. If you just concern with design xml, then you can check this:

It is one of nice tool to design xml layout for android app. But i recommended you to use Eclipse, as it is the best environment to do such xml layout design and you will get everything with that.
